Professor Names Newly Discovered Fly Species After Deceased Son

Prof. Dr. Rüstem Hayat discovered a new fly species, 'Orthonevra abdullahi', which aids in plant pollination, naming it after his son who passed away at age one. This species was introduced to the scientific community in September 2023.
