CAS Clears Russia to Return to International Ice Hockey, Including 2027 World Championship

The Court of Arbitration for Sport has ruled that Russia’s national teams must be allowed back into international ice hockey competitions from the 2026–27 season. Russia is eligible for the 2027 World Championship in Germany; the IIHF has expressed disappointment.
