Aysu Türkoğlu Becomes Youngest Turk to Conquer Tsugaru Channel

Aysu Türkoğlu, 25, has become the youngest Turkish athlete to successfully swim the Tsugaru Channel in Japan. She completed the challenging 45-kilometer open water swim in 13 hours and 44 minutes, overcoming strong currents and high waves.
