Germany Selects Munich as Candidate for 2036 Olympic Games

Germany has chosen Munich to compete for the hosting rights of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2036, 2040, or 2044. The decision was made by the German Olympic Sports Confederation, which favored Munich over the Cologne-Rhine-Ruhr region.
