EU Commission Tells TikTok to Change Algorithm Over User Risks

The European Commission says TikTok’s recommendation system may breach the Digital Services Act by repeatedly serving personalized videos that could harm users’ well-being. TikTok denies the allegations and could face a fine of up to 6% of its global turnover if it does not comply.
