GTA 6 Release on 19 November 2026: Platforms, Price, PC Date and What Is Confirmed

Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar Games' first new GTA in 13 years, is scheduled for release on Thursday 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no PC version at launch. In the US the Standard Edition costs $79.99 and the digital-only Ultimate Edition $99.99. In Germany the prices are €79.99 and €99.99, and in Turkey's PlayStation Store they are 3,999 TL and 4,999 TL. Pre-orders opened on 25 June 2026, and digital pre-loading starts on 12 November. The game is set in Leonida, a fictional version of Florida, and its two protagonists are Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. This page separates what Rockstar and its owner Take-Two Interactive have confirmed from reports and leaks, and will be updated as launch approaches.

Is GTA 6 still coming out on 19 November 2026?

Yes. As of 26 October 2026 no further delay has been announced. The date has moved twice. The December 2023 reveal trailer promised 2025. In May 2025 the game moved to 26 May 2026. Then on 6 November 2025, alongside Take-Two's quarterly results, Rockstar moved it to 19 November 2026, saying it needed more time for polish. Take-Two's 7 August 2026 results release kept that date. Chief executive Strauss Zelnick cited excitement around the launch when he reiterated a fiscal-2027 net bookings outlook of $8.0–8.2 billion. Take-Two's next report, on 9 November 2026, is the last scheduled investor update before launch. A rumour about the review embargo, posted on ResetEra on 23 October and repeated by several outlets, says reviews can be published from 18 November. Rockstar has not confirmed it.

Which platforms is GTA 6 on — and when is the PC version?

Confirmed platforms are PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Rockstar's 24 June pre-order announcement does not mention PC, and neither Rockstar nor Take-Two has announced a PC version. On 13 October GamesBeat reported, citing four industry sources, that a PC release is planned for the first quarter of 2027. Treat that as unconfirmed. Earlier in October, reports that Microsoft had secured exclusive cloud-streaming rights were partly walked back. Xbox said the game would be neither exclusive to its service nor streamable on PC, while several outlets reported it will be playable on Xbox Cloud Gaming at launch. Rockstar has also said the game will run at 30 frames per second on consoles at launch, including PS5 Pro, without ruling out other modes later. A Switch 2 version has not been announced. On 9 October Nintendo of America president Devon Pritchard said that question was for Take-Two and Rockstar.

How much does GTA 6 cost in the US, Germany and Turkey?

There are two editions of the game itself. The Standard Edition costs $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition $99.99. The Ultimate Edition adds vehicles, weapons, apparel and extra story-linked content for Jason and Lucia, according to Take-Two's 24 June release. German launch-day reports by PC Games Hardware list €79.99 and €99.99. Shops sell only the Standard Edition, and the Ultimate Edition is sold only in the PlayStation and Microsoft stores. Turkish storefront listings, reported by Technopat and the price tracker psoyunfiyatlari, show 3,999 TL for Standard and 4,999 TL for Ultimate. On 24 September Rockstar also opened orders for The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection, an 11-item merchandise box priced at $399.99 (£349 in the UK) that does not include the game. Retail prices can differ from these store prices.

Rockstar opened pre-orders at midnight local time on 25 June 2026. Pre-orders and purchases made before 20 November include the Vintage Vice City Pack, and digital pre-orders add one free month of GTA+. Boxed copies contain a download code rather than a disc. They go on sale on 12 November so that buyers can pre-load the game. Rockstar has not published a global unlock time. Reports based on PlayStation Store listings say the game unlocks at midnight local time in each region, starting in New Zealand. In Turkey that means 00:00 Turkish time on 19 November. These times could still change.

What has Rockstar shown — and what leaked?

Rockstar's footage so far follows Jason and Lucia through Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. The first trailer leaked a day early, on 4 December 2023, and Rockstar released it in response. Trailer 2 followed on 6 May 2025. An Extended Look with the first official gameplay premiered on Netflix on 27 August 2026, a few hours before it reached YouTube. A 90-second launch trailer followed on 15 October 2026, featuring a new song by the French duo Justice, who composed the original score. Rockstar told press that the map is about three times the size of Red Dead Redemption 2's playable area and that the main story takes roughly 80 hours. It has also said single-player will have no microtransactions and that the game contains no generative AI.

The leaks are a separate story. In September 2022 a hacker posted about 50 minutes of early footage taken from Rockstar's internal Slack. A 17-year-old linked to the Lapsus$ group was later placed under an indefinite hospital order. From 18 August 2026 an account called Cyberleek published gameplay clips and the full map. Take-Two filed subpoenas against Microsoft and Discord in a New York federal court on 20 August to identify the leaker. On 26 August Rockstar called the leaks heartbreaking for its team. Cyberleek later threatened to release a playable build unless Take-Two apologised and put the game on disc. It tied these threats to a cryptocurrency token, and on 14 October it suggested the leaks may be over. None of its claims about the build have been verified.

What is still unconfirmed, and what happens next?

Not confirmed: a PC release date (reported for Q1 2027), a new online mode, the review embargo time, the download size and official Turkish-language support, which is only rumoured. GTA 6 launches as a single-player game. Twitch chief executive Dan Clancy suggested in September that its online component could arrive in 2027, but Rockstar has not announced one. Take-Two has said the existing GTA Online will continue. No official file size has been published, and estimates of 150–300 GB are guesses.
