Meta Settles Social Media Addiction Lawsuit with Kentucky School District

Meta has settled a lawsuit with Breathitt County School District in Kentucky, which accused the company of fueling social media addiction among teenagers. This settlement averts a trial that was set to be a test case for 1200 other school districts with similar claims; Snap, TikTok, and YouTube had previously settled with the district.
