Microsoft Lays Off 4,800 Employees, Restructures Xbox Division

Microsoft is eliminating approximately 4,800 jobs, about 2.1% of its global workforce, as part of a significant restructuring of its Xbox gaming division. The layoffs include shedding around 3,200 gaming jobs over the fiscal year and spinning off or selling four game studios.
