Turkey’s Social Media Restrictions for Children Under 15 Take Effect Nov. 1

Turkey’s new rules bar children under 15 from opening social media accounts and require existing accounts found to belong to under-15s to be closed. Users aged 15 to 18 will face additional safety and privacy restrictions.
