Some get their kicks on Route 66. Others go for Scotland’s majestic North Coast 500. But the roll-call of great driving odysseys has now been added to with the so-called SW660. It may sound like a brand of oil or a can of lubricant but the SW bit stands for South West, and 660 is the number of miles it takes you to drive from Poole’s swish marina in Dorset to the working port of Watchet, at the mouth of the Bristol Channel.
