Spain Weighs Suspending Madrid-Barcelona High-Speed Rail for Modernization

Spain is considering suspending AVE service between Madrid and Barcelona during modernization work. Transport Minister Óscar Puente said the measure could shorten the project timeline from five years to 24 months.
