Biden's former doctor Kevin O'Connor to sit for deposition with House Oversight Committee

Former President Biden's onetime personal physician Kevin O'Connor is set to be deposed by the House Oversight Committee next month, two sources familiar with the plans confirmed to Axios.Why it matters: The interview is part of a wide-ranging Republican investigation into the former president's health spurred in part by revelations from Alex Thompson and Jake Tapper's new book, "Original Sin."The panel has also subpoenaed a multitude of the ex-president's closest aides, including former White House chief of staff Ron Klain.O'Connor had been the only person so far who did not comply with the panel's request for voluntary testimony. News of his agreement to sit for a deposition was first reported by NBC News.
