Turkish President Erdoğan Offers Condolences to Slain Officer's Family
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has sent messages of condolence to the family of police officer Mehmet Ali Topatan, who was killed in a shooting during a traffic stop in Istanbul's Esenyurt district. The officer was fatally wounded when the driver of a vehicle being inspected opened fire.
