Erdoğan: Worst book massacres occurred during coup periods

President Erdoğan stated that the most shameful book massacres happened during coup periods when national will and democracy were suspended. He cited the 28 February period, when 4,500 works, including 500 from Sultan Abdülhamid II's library, were discarded.
