EU Suspends Meat and Animal Product Imports from Brazil Over Antimicrobial Use

The European Union will suspend imports of meat and other animal products from Brazil starting September 3rd. The decision comes as Brazil has not provided sufficient assurances regarding compliance with EU rules on antimicrobial use in livestock.
