Florence Floods: Uffizi Gallery and Pitti Palace Submerged by Heavy Rains

Heavy rains and storms in Florence, Italy, have caused flooding at the renowned Uffizi Gallery and the historic 15th-century Pitti Palace. While artworks at the Uffizi, including Caravaggio's "Bacchus," were unharmed, parts of the Pitti Palace have been closed to visitors.
