France Selects 109 Territories as 'Electrification Laboratories' to Phase Out Fossil Fuels

The French government has chosen 109 territories, encompassing nearly 7,000 municipalities and 14 million residents, to pilot its electrification plan. These areas will serve as 'laboratories' to accelerate the transition away from gas and oil, focusing on mobility, housing, industry, and agriculture.
