France to raise annual medical co-payment cap to 140 euros, indexed to inflation

France will increase the annual cap on medical co-payments and fixed charges to 140 euros, up from 100 euros. This 40% increase, effective October 1, accounts for inflation since 2005 and will be regularly re-evaluated.
