Magnitude 2.8 Earthquake Hits Groningen, Netherlands, Strongest Since March
A preliminary magnitude 2.8 earthquake struck northern Groningen, Netherlands. This is the strongest tremor in the region since a magnitude 3.0 quake in March. The KNMI has identified the event as likely induced by gas extraction.
