Klopp is the top-paid person in the White House. Second is associate counsel Edgar Mkrtchian who makes $203,645.Zoom out: 33 employees earn $195,200, including:Susie Wiles: chief of staffKaroline Leavitt: press secretaryTom Homan: border czarStephen Miller: assistant to the president; deputy chief of staff for policy; homeland security adviser Sergio Gor: assistant to the president; director of the Office of Presidential Personnel Peter Navarro, assistant to the president; senior counselor for trade and manufacturing Zoom in: Most deputy assistants make between $155,000 and $175,000Most special assistants earn between $121,500 and $150,000. Presidential speechwriters make between $92,500 and $121,500. 108 employees earn between $59,000 and $80,000.
