Iran and Oman agree on Strait of Hormuz corridor, closing southern route
Iran announced an agreement with Oman to establish a temporary 7-mile wide transit corridor in the Strait of Hormuz, closing the southern route. Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated the strait will only reopen if the US fulfills its commitments and conflicts end.
