Istanbul Closes Schools for a Day as Heavy Rain Prompts Motorcycle Ban

Istanbul suspended in-person classes at all public and private schools on Oct. 15 because of heavy rain. Motorcycles and similar two-wheeled vehicles were barred from traffic from 9 p.m. until further notice.
