Izmir Marks Six Years Since Earthquake as Bayraklı Housing Renewal Continues
Six years after the 2020 earthquake that killed 117 people, officials say 5,592 housing units have been completed in Bayraklı, with construction continuing on 995 more. Murat Kurum pledged to make Izmir more resilient to disasters.
