Japan and OAS Grant Haiti $3 Million for Voter Registration Ahead of Elections

Japan and the Organization of American States (OAS) have awarded Haiti a $3 million grant to aid voter registration efforts. The funds will help update voter lists and procure identification cards as the country prepares for general elections, the first in over a decade, amidst ongoing gang violence.
