Merwedebrug Reopens Ahead of Schedule After Repairs

The Merwedebrug near Gorinchem has reopened to traffic earlier than expected following repairs. The bridge, which received a new thinner asphalt layer, is now 400 tons lighter, but a truck ban remains in effect due to structural concerns.
