Three Departments in Southern France Under Orange Alert for Heavy Rain and Flooding

The Lozère, Gard, and Hérault departments are under an orange alert for thunderstorms and heavy rain starting Wednesday at midnight. Intense rainfall is expected in the Cévennes region following a prolonged period of drought.
