Turkey and Iraq Agree to Gradual Handover of Başika-Zilikan Site and Security Coordination

Turkey will begin steps to gradually transfer the Başika-Zilikan site to Iraq’s federal government. The two countries also agreed to activate a joint committee to monitor efforts to end the PKK’s presence in Sinjar.
