Turkey's Culture Minister Warns of Plastic Waste Crisis, Cites Economic Gains

Turkey's Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy highlighted a global surge in plastic production and waste, noting only 9% is recycled. He also reported Turkey's "Zero Waste" initiative has recovered 90 million tons of waste, contributing 365 billion lira to the economy.
