Turkey's Education Minister: No plans to shorten 12-year compulsory education

Turkey's Minister of National Education, Yusuf Tekin, stated that shortening the 12-year compulsory education is not on the ministry's agenda in the short term. He added that steps could be taken if societal consensus is reached.
