Turkey launches major cleanup of Fethiye Bay, removing 16 million cubic meters of sludge
Turkey's Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Minister Murat Kurum announced a large-scale cleanup operation for Fethiye Bay. Two dredging vessels will remove approximately 16 million cubic meters of sludge from a 600-hectare area over three years.
