Turkish Chamber Officials Sentenced to 5 Months for Illegal APP Plate Fee

Two officials from the Karapınar Chamber of Drivers and Automobile Tradesmen in Konya, Turkey, were sentenced to five months in prison and a two-month suspension of rights for illegally charging a 150 Turkish Lira service fee for changing an 'APP' license plate. The court ruled they misused their authority.
