Turkish Police Warn of Drowning Risks from Currents and Waves

Turkey's General Directorate of Security (EGM) has issued a warning about the dangers of rip currents and undertows, urging swimmers to take precautions to prevent drowning incidents. The EGM advised choosing beaches with lifeguards and warning signs, avoiding swimming in stormy weather, and not panicking if caught in a current.
