Britain's Got Talent Announces New Judge Amid Panel Shake-Up

The Britain's Got Talent team pictured together in 2024Britain’s Got Talent has confirmed that Bruno Tonioli will not be returning to the show next year.Rumours had been swirling around Bruno’s BGT future for some time, after he joined the panel in 2023 to replace outgoing judge David Walliams.On Monday evening, ITV confirmed that the former Strictly Come Dancing judge had left BGT for good due to his overseas commitments.“After three incredible series, I’ve sadly had to walk away from a job which has opened my eyes to so much incredible talent and step down as a judge on BGT,” Bruno said.He continued: “Whilst I look forward to filming a new series of Dancing with the Stars in the US, I will miss the chaos and joy that BGT brings, as well as all the wonderful people I’ve had the privilege of working with. “They truly are a brilliant team who make brilliant television.”Bruno Tonioli at last year's BGT red carpet launchBruno’s spot will now be occupied by the rapper, boxer, entrepreneur and internet personality KSI, who previously guest judged last year’s series while the Italian choreographer was filming Dancing With The Stars across the pond.“I’m so grateful and happy to be a part of the Britain’s Got Talent team for another season,” KSI enthused. “I had such a good time last year and I can’t wait to see some more top talent. I’m full of energy, ready to go and can’t wait to make this the most entertaining BGT season ever!
