Celebrity Traitors Star Opens Up About Unseen Alan Carr Moments Viewers Are Missing Out On
Alan Carr and Celebrity Traitors host Claudia WinklemanWith the silver medal going to Celia Imrie, most Celebrity Traitors viewers would probably be in agreement that Alan Carr has been the true scene-stealer of the series so far.Over the first four episodes of the star-studded reality show, Alan has had us howling with his witty send-ups of his fellow contestants – not to mention his complete inability to play it cool while carrying out his ill deeds as a resident “Traitor”.However, speaking on his podcast Reel Talk, Jonathan Ross has revealed that there were plenty of hilarious moments that didn’t even make it into the finished show.As reported by Metro, he claimed: “Obviously, there’s so much left on the cutting room floor. There are so many moments.“I think they should release a director’s Alan Carr special. Because there are so many funny things he did and said, which I know already should have been in the first episode [or] should have been in the second episode.”Jonathan Ross and Alan Carr with Celebrity Traitors co-stars Ruth Codd, Tameka Empson and Joe Marler earlier in the seriesJonathan teased: “There’s something that happens later on that I know which should be in [the show] but isn’t in. And it’s like, there’s this Alan Carr gold waiting out there to be spun into [the episodes].“So, maybe the BBC will consider… ask Alan, maybe they could put Alan’s unseen highlights together.”Alan initially rose to fame in the 2000s as the host of The Friday Night Project. This led to him landing his own celebrity talk show, Chatty Man, which ran on Channel 4 between 2009 and 2016.Last week, The Sun reported that Alan’s popularity on Celebrity Traitors has led to the BBC considering a revival of Chatty Man.In addition to his podcast Life’s A Beach and stand-up career, Alan is currently a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK and the host of the reality show Interior Design Masters. He and Amanda Holden also have their own travel series, and next year, he’ll appear as a contestant on the popular comedy series Last One Laughing, alongside the likes of David Mitchell, Diane Morgan, Bob Mortimer and Romesh Ranganathan. The Celebrity Traitors continues on Wednesday and Thursday at 9pm on BBC One.MORE TRAITORS:I Thought This Would Be Celebrity Traitors' Biggest Flaw – But It's Actually Changed The GameJonathan Ross Clarifies Celebrity Traitors Comments After Claiming He 'Didn't Enjoy' The ShowTom Daley Reveals How He Really Feels About That Gratuitous Celebrity Traitors Shower SceneMiriam Margolyes Claims She Was Invited To Be On Celebrity Traitors – And Responded As Only She Could
