Kemi Badenoch and Nigel FarageKemi Badenoch has branded Nigel Farage a “bullshitter” in an extraordinary attack on the Reform UK leader.The Tory leader got personal as yet another opinion poll showed the Conservatives trailing behind their right-wing rivals.The More in Common poll of more than 11,000 people said Reform would end up with 290 seats if an election was held tomorrow, compared to just 81 for the Tories.Addressing a Conservative dinner at the Local Government Association’s annual conference, Badenoch also said Keir Starmer was a “liar”.She said: “Sometimes it’s really challenging when we have opponents to the left and the right of us promising people things that we know that they can never do.“And a man sent me an email the other day. He said that ‘there are liars in politics and that there are bullshitters’. And you need to understand the difference between a liar and a bullshitter.“And a liar will tell you something that is definitely not true. That’s where Keir Starmer fits in. Every week at PMQs, he stands up and talks about how business confidence is great, the economy is going gangbusters and all is fine.“Nigel Farage is a bullshitter, a bullshitter. The difference between liars and bullshit is that bullshitters don’t care whether what they’re saying is true or false. They just say whatever. We are not liars and we don’t do bullshit. We tell the truth. That is what my leadership is about.”Badenoch has struggled ever since becoming Tory leader, prompting speculation that she could even be ousted this year.Under Conservative Party rules, a new leader cannot be challenged in their first 12 months in the job.Badenoch will mark her first anniversary as leader in November, meaning she could theoretically face a challenge then.Related...'He Needs An Education!'
