Man guilty of defacing National Monument on Dam Square, receives no punishment

A 25-year-old man has been found guilty of damaging the National Monument on Dam Square by spraying it with red paint. He will not receive a sentence or penalty as he has already paid the €895 cost for cleaning the monument.
