MP Gives Voters An Important Reminder About Nigel Farage's Brexit Past

Nigel Farage celebrates the day after the Brexit referendum in 2016.Voters have been given a timely reminder of the damage done by Brexit – and Nigel Farage’s key role in it.The Reform UK leader and his party are currently riding high in the opinion polls as the public’s disillusionment with Labour and the Tories continues.But Stephen Flynn, the SNP’s leader at Westminster, pointed out that many of the country’s problems can be traced back to the vote to leave the EU in 2016, which Farage campaigned for.Appearing on Sunday with Laura Kuenssberg, he said: “On Brexit, everyone across the UK right now feels that Britain is broken. The public finances are in a mess and the politicians are lost as to how you get out of that particular mess.“And yet the guy who orchestrated it, doesn’t have to face the consequences of the economic damage that Brexit has done to the UK.
