Netflix Finally Just Revealed The Future Of 4 Fan-Favourite Shows

Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton in season three of BridgertonWe all know Netflix can be a little unforthcoming when it comes to announcements about the future of its shows – often keeping fans waiting for months for updates on even some of its biggest titles.So, we’re happy to report that the streaming platform has made a mahoosive announcement about what’s next for four of its biggest shows of the past year.First of all, with filming on season four of Bridgerton nearing its end, Netflix has announced that it will be getting a fifth and sixth run – seemingly extending the show’s run until around 2030 (as each season of the hit period drama takes around two years to complete).Keri Russell in the first season of The DiplomatFans of cult favourite The Diplomat also have reason to celebrate, as the Keri Russell thriller is now getting a fourth season, with the third still to come later in the year.As if that wasn’t enough, recent hits The Four Seasons and Forever will both be getting follow-up seasons, after fans speculated about whether the show’s success could lead to them being renewed by Netflix.The Four Seasons premiered at the beginning of this month, co-written by and starring Tina Fey at the centre of a story about six lifelong friends, made up of three couples, whose lives are rocked by the news that one of the pairings is splitting up.The Four Seasons is now streaming on NetflixA week later, Forever also began streaming.The teen romance serves as a modern reimagining of Judy Blume’s classic novel, updated for the 21st century, with Lovie Simone and Michael Cooper Jr in the lead roles.Michael Cooper Jr as Justin and Lovie Simone as Keisha in ForeverNetflix hits Squid Game and Stranger Things will both return for their final seasons in 2025.Meanwhile, Black Mirror viewers are still waiting on news on whether the dystopian drama will be recommissioned, following the success of its seventh drop of episodes last month.MORE NETFLIX:These Are Our 9 Top Picks Of The New Shows And Films Streaming On Netflix This MayDirector Of Netflix's New Fred And Rose West Doc Jumps To Defence Of Controversial SeriesThought The Stars Of Netflix's Forever Looked Familiar?
