Netherlands Reports First Euthanasia Case for Terminally Ill Child Under 12

The Netherlands has reported its first case of euthanasia for a terminally ill child under 12. The procedure, permitted since 2024 for children with unbearable suffering, was carried out late last year. The case is now under review by the Public Prosecution Service.
