Pride & Prejudice Fans Have Yet Another Star-Studded Adaptation To Dive Into

Marisa Abela takes the lead in this latest adaptation of Pride & PrejudiceIt’s fair to say that it’s been a big year so far for Pride & Prejudice fans.Not only is Netflix currently working on a new adaptation of the Jane Austen novel starring Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden and Olivia Colman, there’s also the upcoming BBC drama The Other Bennet Sister to look forward to, following on from the events in the classic story.Oh, and there’s also the re-release of the 2005 movie to get excited about, commemorating 20 years since it first hit cinemas.Before all of that, though, Audible has now released a new audiobook version of Pride & Prejudice featuring an all-star cast.Industry star Marisa Abela takes on the lead role of Elizabeth Bennet in this new audio series, with Babygirl’s Harris Dickinson taking on the iconic role of Mr Darcy.Harris Dickinson“Elizabeth Bennet is one of the most fiercely intelligent and iconic characters in literature, and stepping into her shoes has been an incredible honour,” Marisa enthused.“What I love about this adaptation is how it lets us hear her inner world in such a vivid, intimate way – it feels both timeless and fresh.
