Rod Stewart at the Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning premiere last monthSir Rod Stewart has shared his “devastation” at having to cancel a string of shows due to illness.Last week, the Maggie May crooner shared that he was postponing a show in Las Vegas on medical grounds, and days later, cancelled a show at the same venue, revealing he was recovering from the flu.Over the weekend, Sir Rod revealed he was cancelling and rescheduling a total of six shows on his current US tour while he recuperates from his bout of ill health.“I have to cancel and reschedule my next six concerts in June as I continue to recover from the flu,” he explained in an Instagram post. “So sorry, my friends.”He added: “I’m devastated and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience to my fans.
