Tom Daley Gets Candid About Age Gap Between Himself And Husband Dustin Lance Black

Dustin Lance Black and Tom Daley at the GQ Men Of The Year ceremony in 2022Tom Daley is opening up about his relationship with his husband, Dustin Lance Black.The retired Olympic diver and Oscar-winning screenwriter – who uses his middle name, Lance, in his personal life – first began dating in 2013, when Tom was 18 and Lance was 38.During a new interview with Us Weekly, the gold medallist admitted that he “one hundred per cent” feels like the age gap between himself and his husband has shrunk as the years have gone on.“It’s funny because the people that know us know that I’m the more mature person that kind of runs the show in the house,” Tom claimed.He explained: “As we get older, I think we both align very well on what we want to achieve.“We’re both really big dreamers. I think that was the biggest thing for us, that we’re both so supportive of each other. We don’t limit the other person’s dreams. We really make each other feel like we can achieve whatever we set our minds to.”Tom Daley and Dustin Lance Black at the 2023 Brit AwardsTom also opened up about his and Lance’s recent move to the US, with the future Celebrity Traitors star claiming: “Part of it was the fact that Lance moved to the UK for me to be able to do my diving for the longest time.“He moved away from his business and his work.
