Trump Makes Bizarre Boast About Beating Top Democrats In Dementia Test

Trump and the MoCA testUS president Donald Trump was ripped on Monday for boasting about passing a dementia test as he attempted to belittle potential Democratic presidential hopefuls.Speaking to reporters on board Air Force 1 as he traveled to Japan, the president, 79, bizarrely bragged about how he could beat Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Democrat, New York) and Jasmine Crockett (Democrat, Texas) as he appeared to reference acing theMontreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA).Ocasio-Cortez is 36, and Crockett is 44.The brief assessment screens for signs of cognitive decline in the elderly and stroke patients, and sets simple tasks such as drawing a clock, identifying animals and repeating a string of words back.While keeping the door open to a Constitution-breaching third term, Trump once again accused the prominent Democrats of having “low IQ” and suggested they should take the “cognitive tests” he underwent at the Walter Reed Medical Center.To be clear, the MoCA is not designed as a measure of intelligence or IQ.“Let AOC go against Trump. Let Jasmine go against Trump,” Trump said. “The first couple of questions are easy: a tiger, an elephant, a giraffe.
