Gary Oldman in the most recent season of Slow HorsesSome of us are still reeling from the many twists of Slow Horses season four, but in a new interview with Deadline, its leading man Sir Gary Oldman gave fans three major reasons to be excited about the future of the show.First off, there’s the fact that season five will premiere on Apple TV+ later this year. Season six, meanwhile, has already been shot, with Deadline’s interview with the newly-knighted British actor claiming that the Emmy-winning spy drama has already been renewed for a seventh run.They said that the new batch of episodes is due to begin filming in London this autumn.HuffPost UK has contacted Apple TV+ for comment.Gary Oldman at the SAG Awards earlier this yearSir Gary described Slow Horses as “truly the wonderful gift that keeps on giving”. The Oscar winner enthused: “I just adore the hell out of it, and the people.
