Will The Diplomat Get A Season 4 At Netflix? Here's What We Know

Sadly, it seems we've seen the last of Celebrity Traitors fave Celia Imrie in The DiplomatWhat will season 4 of The Diplomat be about?The Diplomat looks set to turn up the pressure even more when it returns, as Kate grapples with the new American president, played by Allison Janney, and all the power struggles and second guessing that come with this transatlantic relationship. There’s also the small matter of the potential acts of war involving Russia, Britain and America that Kate has to deal with thanks to the President’s questionable decisions and motives we saw at the end of season three.Netflix has teased: “As Kate steps into a role she never wanted, with a freedom she never expected, she finds herself with a whole new set of expectations and obstacles. The season three finale suggests The Diplomat will weather more complications than ever in season four.” Debora also made it clear that fans won’t be in for an easy watch, warning: “[Fans] should be worried. There’s plenty to worry about.“It can be pretty chilling when you see who takes power and get the sense that they may be horrifically misusing it.”When is season 4 of The Diplomat out?While we don’t have an exact date for the new season just yet, we know that The Diplomat starts production in autumn (aka. right about now), so it shouldn’t be too long to wait. So far, all three seasons of the show have dropped a year apart from each other (2023, 2024 and 2025), with the last two seasons both landing in October of their respective years. If Netflix sticks to that pattern, we could see season four on our screens around October 2026.
