The collision happened at 9 p.m. E.T. The jet headed to Virginia was carrying 28 passengers, while the other plane had 57 passengers on board.Delta said in the statement that no injuries to passengers were reported as a result of the incident, but one flight attendant had suffered from a minor injury, which was treated by EMTs.It added that customers were taken back to the terminal via a bus and provided with food and drinks. They would receive hotel rooms, meals, and rebookings for Thursday.Delta said that it would fully cooperate with authorities to investigate the incident.In March, a Delta Air Lines jet and a US Air Force aircraft nearly collided near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.This was just a few months after a deadly midair collision occurred near the same airport.
