EU Approves Arla Foods' Merger with German Dairy Giant DMK

The European Commission has approved the merger between Danish-Swedish dairy giant Arla Foods and the German cooperative DMK, creating Europe's largest dairy cooperative with approximately €19 billion in annual revenue. The EU determined that the merger, uniting over 12,000 dairy farmers, poses no threat to competition.
