Turkey's Trade Deficit Increased by 22.3% in August 2023

In August 2023, Turkey's exports rose by 8.1% to $23.5 billion, while imports increased by 10.5% to $28.7 billion, leading to a trade deficit of $5.2 billion. The export-to-import coverage ratio fell to 81.7%.
