King Creosote has sparked controversy but nothing can overshadow his superb music

On-stage remarks by King Creosote at a gig in Stirling have provoked a huge response. In his concert review, Teddy Jamieson noted that a list-style song, Dare I Hope I’m One of the Good Guys, reeled off a handful of “controversial” characters, all of whom Creosote seemed to suggest qualified for the description. They included Van Morrison, JK Rowling and Eric Clapton, as well as Mel Gibson, Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson and Neil Oliver.
