My seven favourite examples of Art Deco in Scotland from the age of glamour

This year is the centenary of the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industries Modernes in Paris, the event that inspired and gave a name to the Art Deco style. Infused with glamour and energy, it emerged from the smart metropolises of Paris and New York in the 1920s, though its impact quickly spread, and it wasn’t long before the style found its way to Scotland.
